Discover your WCI Score before the AI strategy outruns the workforce.
This is the CEO lens on the Workforce Contradiction Index (WCI). It measures whether AI strategy, workflow design, manager reinforcement, and performance signals line up enough for AI to become a real operating capability instead of a Board story.
The Board story vs. workforce reality
We measure whether the AI ambition at the top is actually supported by adoption, job design, and manager reinforcement on the ground.
Where productivity is real vs. assumed
The score separates measured AI value from anecdote, enthusiasm, and productivity claims the operating system does not yet validate.
Whether capability can spread beyond power users
A company is not AI-ready because one standout operator is. The audit checks whether the manager layer can coach and reinforce the behavior wider.
Adoption the strategy quietly assumes
If leadership is planning around AI usage rates the workforce has not actually reached, the score will surface it.
AI training that managers never reinforce
This is the common failure mode: training happens once, reinforcement never happens, and behavior decays.
Score preview
Leadership Fluency and Strategic Alignment carry the heaviest weight because this WCI lens is reading whether the AI story actually lands in the workforce.

What the score measures
Five dimensions weighted to show where the AI system is coherent and where it is contradictory.
The score is intentionally not flat. Leadership Fluency and Strategic Alignment carry the most weight because AI usually fails at the reinforcement and operating-model layer, not at the software-purchasing layer.
Leadership Fluency
Whether leaders and managers can coach, reinforce, and spread AI capability instead of leaving it trapped with a few strong operators.
Strategic Alignment
Whether the company can support its AI positioning with evidence the workforce layer would actually back up under scrutiny.
Productivity Gain
Whether AI-driven output is measured rigorously enough to distinguish real gains from optimism, story, or experimentation.
Tool Adoption
Whether weekly usage across the organization matches the adoption rate the strategy quietly assumes.
Role Redesign
Whether roles, onboarding, and day-to-day expectations have actually been redesigned for AI-augmented work.

How this WCI lens is read
This AI lens scores five underlying alignment dimensions, then inverts them into a Workforce Contradiction Index. Higher WCI means the AI story at the top is outrunning workforce reality more severely. Most teams cluster in the middle bands; scores under 20 should be rare.
Contradiction Locked
80-100The AI story and the workforce system have materially come apart. Strategy, manager reinforcement, role design, adoption, and measurement are pulling in different directions.
Structurally Distorted
60-79Some AI capability exists, but the operating system still reinforces a different reality than the ambition assumes. Reinforcement and redesign are not yet broad enough to carry the claim.
Exposed
40-59Ambition is visibly ahead of operating reality. Some capability exists, but manager reinforcement, role design, or measurement is still too thin. Most mid-market teams land here.
Tension Building
20-39Contradiction is present but still containable. The workforce system is beginning to catch up, but the operating logic is not yet fully coherent.
Coherent
0-19The AI strategy and workforce system are aligned tightly enough that contradiction is limited and operating advantage can compound. Rare.
